Επιστηµονική Υπεύθυνη και κύρια εισηγήτρια του έργου : ΕΠΕΑΕΚ- ΠΡΟΓΡΑΜΜΑΤΑ ΚΙΝΗΤΙΚΟΤΗΤΑΣ µε θέµα: Σύγχρονες Κατευθύνσεις Εµπλουτισµού της Μαθηµατικής Παιδείας. (Σ.Κ.Ε.Μ.Π).
I. Eννοιακές εικόνες (Concept images) των θεµελιωδών εννοιών της Πραγµατικής Aνάλυσης, όπως: όριο πραγµατικών ακολουθιών / συναρτήσεων µίας ή δύο µεταβλητών, ακολουθίας γεωµετρικών αντικειµένων. Συµφιλίωση των συνολοθεωρητικών κατασκευών supremum - infimum µε τις διαισθητικές δυναµικές προσεγγίσεις που έχουν οι φοιτητές για τις οριακές διαδικασίες. Η κατανόηση των συνόλων και των συναρτήσεων ως τυπικών µαθηµατικών αντικειµένων από τους φοιτητές. Ιδιαίτερα η κατανόηση του R.
II. Mελέτη των λεπτών διαφοροποιήσεων της Eπίλυσης Προβλήµατος και της Aπόδειξης στα Mαθηµατικά. Η µοντελοποίηση της διαισθητικής ή νοερής επιχειρηµατολογίας σε αναγνωρίσιµα µαθηµατικά σχήµατα. Δηµιουργία συναρτήσεων, µε έµφαση στις αµφιµονοσήµαντες συναρτήσεις, ως εργαλείων για την επίλυση προβληµάτων. H Δηµιουργία Προβλήµατος (Problem Posing).
III. H µελέτη της Προχωρηµένης Mαθηµατικής Σκέψης (Advanced Mathematical Thinking), δηλαδή η διερεύνηση των τρόπων σκέψης όταν µαθαίνουµε και δουλεύουµε στα µαθηµατικά στην τριτοβάθµια εκπαίδευση. Ζητήµατα µετάβασης από τη Β′ βάθµια στη Γ′ βάθµια Εκπαίδευση. Η εξέταση των µαθηµατικών εννοιών / τεχνικών
των οποίων ο ρόλος διαπερνά τις διάφορες μαθηματικές θεωρίες
και εκείνων που συνδέονται περισσότερο με μία ειδική μαθηματική θεωρία. Η κατανόηση από τους φοιτητές ποιά θεωρήματα είναι
‘κεντρικά’ και ποιών ο ρόλος είναι υποβοηθητικός. Η διατήρηση στο µυαλό των φοιτητών των θεωρηµάτων / αποδείξεων και η δυνατότητα εφαρµογής τους. Η αντίληψη της Mαθηµατικής Δοµής, (κατανόηση Τοπικών / Ολικών Δοµών στην πορεία της µαθηµατικής δραστηριότητας).
Σηµείωση
Το αντικείµενο της Μαθηµατικής Παιδείας δεν είναι πρόσφορο για αυστηρό διαχωρισµό σε ειδικές περιοχές. Παρόλα αυτά δίνω µια κατηγοροποίηση των εργασιών βάσει των τριών παραπάνω κατηγοριών. Συχνά το περιεχόµενο µιας εργασίας µπορεί να συσχετισθεί και µε µία δεύτερη κατηγορία. Οι αριθµοί παραπέµπουν στην αρίθµηση του δηµοσιευµένου έργου όπως παρατίθεται παρακάτω.
