DrIVE is an Educational Virtual TReality software application intended to train novice car-drivers in common driving situations.
It is based on desktop VR, with a minimum of requirements in processing power and data storage. DrIVE consists of three main parts:
  • driving lessons
  • tests for the trainee
  • free driving with on-line guidance

DrIVE has already been presented in numerous Conferences and Workshops, and now is under field testing. The development team incorporates intelligent capabilities into DrIVE, presenting the I-DrIVE.
