## Short CV
She was born in February 7, 1959, in Chania, Crete. In 1980 she received her degree from the Department of Mathematics of University of Patras. In October 1989 she received her PhD thesis from the Department of Mathematics of University of Patras. The subject of her PhD Thesis was “Study of zeros of mixed Bessel functions” under the supervision of Prof. E. K. Ifantis. In May 1991, she became Lecture of the Department of Mathematics of University of Patras. In June 1996, she became Assistant Professor of the Department of Mathematics of University of Patras. Since June 2008, she has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Mathematics of University of Patras. She is married and she has two children. Her research interests include Differential Equations and their applications, Special Functions and Orthogonal Polynomials. Since 1989, she teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in the Department of Mathematics. She has participated in several International and Domestic Scientific Conferences with paper presentations. She was a member of the organizing committee of two International Conferences that took place in the University of Patras in 1999 and in 2002. Since 1980, she has been a member of the Hellenic Mathematical Society.
