Description
Sound Editor is a multimedia publishing application
developed under the project MATCh.
It is a full featured sound editor specially designed
for children. It can play, modify and record sound files.
The sound files are represented as tracks (channels) and
after that are grouped in projects. The user can record
sounds from midi files or from the CD of the PC, if there
is one. It includes a set of effects for modifying of
tracks (channels) and mixer allowing to combine 2 or more
tracks (channels) in one. It also features copy and paste
operations over the tracks. The projects developed with
the Sound Editor are saved with extensions .MMF and consist
of one or more combined .WAV files.
