Description
The EIKON product
was created in the course of the project
EIKON. It is a Tutoring Environment that teaches the
students the basics of the History of the Agriculture
with the usage of state of the art technologies such as
Virtual Reality, Networking etc. It is implementing Client/Server
architecture and features a lot of useful features such
as Chat, Multimedia Online Library that is giving Context
Sensitive Help, a Notebook where the students can have
some records or make memos ( Using the Windows Clipboard).
For the teacher this environment provides Scenario Manager
for creating of different Learning Scenarios according
with the needs of the class.

Here
you can see an online version of EIKON. This version
of EIKON does not include interactivity (the user can
not interact with the different objects in the world)
and the library is switched off.
In the full version clicking on an
item results in displaying multimedia context sensitive
information about it.
