VRTutor is a system for presenting and manipulating
of Virtual Reality Training Environments. This Virtual
Reality Environments are consisting of Experiments in
Physics which are presented to or conducted by the trainee
with the use of Virtual Reality Technology. The goal of
the of the system is the conducting of Laboratory Exercises
in Physics in a Virtual Reality Environment. For this
purpose the program is making use of some Experimental
Arrangements of the experiments which are parameterized.
There are two kinds of users - Teacher User that can change
the parameters of the experimental set and Student User
that is only allowed to run the experiments belonging
to a given set of experiments. The last version of the
product is 1.2 and includes a lot of new improvements
over the previous versions. VRTutor comes with
two different built-in sets of experiments. The first
experiment set is containing two different balls in free
fall (it is called Gallileo after the name of the person
that was the first to conduct similar experiment). The
second experiment set is simulating the work of a simple
mathematical pendulum to which is implemented also Electromagnetic
Field of a magnet ( this experiment set is called Pendulum).
