Experience in Research Projects

Participation in the research project ``CALAMATA (CALculs Algebriques, MATriciels et Applications)'', (2003-2005). Institut de Recherche en Informatique et en Automatique (INRIA), France. Internship at INRIA Sophia-Antipolis from September to December 2004. In collaboration with the GALAAD and OPALE project teams we investigated the application of optimization methods to geometric problems, and in particular, shape optimization and molecular conformation problems.

Participation in the research project ``Foundation and development of Computational Intelligence techniques'', (2004-2005) in the framework of the Program ``Pythagoras'' funded by Operational Program for Educational and Vocational Training II (EPEAEK II) of the European Social Fund.
