English for academic purposes and basic mathematical terminology through texts and exercises (Geometry, Algebra and Arithmetic, Functions and their properties, Elementary Statistics and Probability, Logic). Brief review of the grammar and syntactic structures of the English language. Understanding scientific texts, basic principles of writing scientific papers, writing biographical notes, presenting announcements at scientific meetings.
