SymmetryReduce

SymmetryReduce[eq, ig]
yields the reduction of differential equation(s) eq with respect to the symmetry given by the infinitesimal generator ig. The result is a list {simV, simSol, redEq} where simV is the similarity variable(s), simSol the similarity solution(s) and redEq the reduced equation.

To use SymmetryReduce, you first need to load the SYM Package using Needs["SYM`"].

The new similarity variables are denoted by the symbol and _i.

simV and simSol are lists of substitution rules.
