CRANS is leading a Thales Project entitled
"Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems with Applications in Biomedicine, Physics and the Technology
of Materials" (MACOMSYS). The starting date of the project was 1-1-2012 and the ending date was
30 November 2015. The names of the collaborating researchers can be found here. The project ended with the 5th
Ph.D. School – Conference “Mathematical Modeling of Complex Systems”, 20 – 30 July, 2015, where the work done
under the project was also presented. The Proceedings of this event were published in the EPJST (European Physics
Journal Special Theme) issue 225 (6), Springer – Elsevier, September 2016.
The Inter-University Network "Modelization and Analysis of Biomedical and Physical Systems" (MABIPHYS) was approved by the Research Committee of the University of Patras at the beginning of the academic year 2009-2010, and was funded with 8000 euro, with the aim of seeking common research activities and organizing seminars, workshops and common events. For more information visit our site
The Complex Systems and Applications group (COSA) was formed in 16/11/2006 by decision of the Executive Board of the National Centre of Scientific Sciences “Demokritos”. Researchers from “Demokritos”, other Greek Research Centers and Universities participate in the COSA group, who wish to collaborate on issues related to Complex Systems and applications. For more information visit our site.
