From the academic year 2018-2019, the Department of Mathematics organizes a new Postgraduate Program on Computational and Statistical Data Analysis (MCDA).

The "Computational and Statistical Analysis in Data Science" program is designed to provide specialized interdisciplinary postgraduate education in the field of data management, representation and processing, as well as related computational techniques. Students are trained both in theory and practice. The MSc provides the students the necessary scientific skills in order to be able to select the suitable computational and Statistical Analysis technique for optimal handling of all industry, public administration and business data. 

The curriculum includes 6 compulsory courses, 2 elective courses and a MSc Thesis, corresponding to a total of ninety (90) ECTS units. The courses are semi-annual and teached in Greek and / or English language. The duration of the program is 3 semesters.

Up to 30 graduates of the National and Associated Institutions of the Foreign Departments are admitted to the postgraduate program. The admission process (conditions and criteria) is detailed in the program's operating rules.

Students do not pay attendance fees for their studies.
