General Topology II
Description

Basic Elements of Topology and of Metric spaces. Locally compact spaces. Locally connected spaces. Continua of Peano. Definitions of topological dimension. The concept of the topology curve. Convex subsets and cells of ℝn. Points in a general position and barycentric coordinates of points in ℝn. n-dimensional implex of dimension n. Simplicial partition. Maps between simplices. Lemma of Sperner and Brouwer's Fixed Point Theorem. Simplicial complexes and polyhedra. Euler’s characteristic of polyhedron.
